Specialised training in aquatic safety, intervention and rescue
The foundation of every water rescuer
Lifeguarding is the starting point for any water rescue professional. A lifeguard must understand and read the aquatic environment, assess the conditions around them, and make fast, safe decisions in an emergency.
At IPAR S.A.R., our training approach is built on real-world rescue experience and the management of challenging situations in the aquatic environment.
Our methodology combines technical knowledge, physical preparation, situational awareness and decision-making skills, ensuring that every intervention is carried out with the highest level of safety.
What we cover in our training
-
Assess the environment, risks, safe areas, and sea conditions across different scenarios in order to develop an effective intervention strategy.
-
Learn to identify and assess different types of victims in order to determine the most appropriate rescue technique.
-
Carry out the approach, contact and extraction of the victim while ensuring the rescuer’s safety in hard-to-reach areas.
-
Develop the skills required to provide appropriate first aid for different types of victims encountered during a rescue.
Training built around real-world water rescue
Preparing a rescuer goes far beyond learning a set of specific techniques. It means understanding the environment, anticipating risks, and knowing how to use the right resource at the right time.
At IPAR S.A.R., we believe in a practical, dynamic approach to training, where every exercise has a clear purpose: to prepare professionals to respond safely, effectively and confidently to the challenges of water rescue.
